This basic utility extracts, analyzes, and produces output regarding the outer BER Identifier & Length octets.
In theory, there is no limit to number of octets for high tag numbers. Realistically, you will probably never see more than a few octets. For example, using three octets the tag number can be up to 221 or 2,097,151. This utility supports calculating the Length in advance which means only Short and Long form of BER Length are supported.
